TWO INVESTORS

Pushcasa seeks two investors of $35,000 each to bring a design to prototype ready for production or sale to a larger manufacturer. Investors each receive 10% equity. Investors receive monthly reports and optional weekly conference calls with designer, manufacturer, founder and fellow investor. The team is small and the decision rests on the investor to participate. Investors will be sent an NDA and a Investor Agreement. Staying with trouble requires learning to be truly present, not as a vanishing pivot between awful or Edenic pasts and apocalyptic or salvific futures, but as mortal critters entwined in myriad unfinished configurations of paces, times, matters, meanings.

background.

I am the founder of Nomadic Coffee. I started Nomadic 9 years ago as an art project. Nomadic had a pushcart at the center of its business; I roasted beans, put a poem from local poets in every bag, and used a pushcart to deliver to stores. (We are now in 150 stores and cafes throughout California.)

The pushcart is a kid stroller frame topped with a wooden box made from recycled redwood. As part of the Nomadic project, I went for walks, unfolded the cart to a table, served coffee, and made a podcast of the conversations along my walks.

While Nomadic continues to grow, I see the opportunity for a separate pushcart business. A luxury mobile home pushcart powered by foot. (Electric options to follow.)

I’ve been waiting to secure investors until I located the right design/prototype firm. After a long process, in August of 2021 I found the perfect fit. An amazing bay area firm has agreed to take on the challenge.

Three models, The Forager, The Tucker, and The Ayotunde. The Ayotunde cart must be under 60 pounds and carry a 5 gallon water tank, a collapseable canopy and a fold out flat surface that sits 2 people. Adequate sleeping area, and storage for sleeping bag, and basic food, small stove and fuel. An Ipad will power the lighting and GPS. Satellite Wifi through Starlink. Water, cooking, and electrical systems integrated. The electrical wiring and battery pack part of the frame. The skin of the cart water proof fabric made of Dyneema material.
